Meet your Instructor : Jackie Spahn, Sewist
Jackie has been sewing since she was 7 years old, creating outfits for her dolls from scraps of her mother’s fabric. Fast forward (many) years and she has since graduated with a degree in fashion design, worked as a sample and pattern maker for several brands, and spent 10 years working on bridal and special occassion dress alterations.

She has taught many people of all ages and levels of sewing experience, from those who are picking up a needle and thread for the first time, to professional seamstresses learning new techniques.

She aims to build your skills and confidence so you’ll enjoy the sewing process, while also building a community of creative people to connect with (group sewing is the best!).
