Hey there! My name is Nina. I have been behind the chair since 2018 — specializing in shags, mullets, blondes, and fashion colors. I hold the unofficial title of “Hair Wizard” by my clients, and I’m very proud of that. A huge passion of mine is educating! If you have any questions about hair science or styling during your appointment, please do not hesitate to ask!

Matteo & I are always looking to learn and to grow. The Hair Haus will constantly change and evolve, as a living being, however the bedrock in which it was founded will always remain the same; love.

In my free time I enjoy reading, roller skating, traveling, and shopping! I love everything 70s, you’ll see that when you book your appointment and come in. (:

Hey, I’m Matteo! I am not a hairstylist, but grew up in a hair home! My grandparents owned a salon in my hometown for 25 years, which I basically grew up inside of. My mother worked as a stylist there, as well as all of my aunts.

Although I was born and raised in the Northeast, I have been living in Melbourne since 2020. Nina & I opened the doors of The Hair Haus in 2021 as a space created for stylists to grow and enjoy the art and craft of hair. Our shop is designed with the client in mind, aiming to make you feel right at home with our decor and hospitality.

Brand hysteria is my thing! I design all merch for the HH! As well as coordinate all workshops/events in our historic, 600 sqft, 13-foot tall ceiling back room — aka the Clubhaus!

When I'm not at the Haus, you can find me spending time with Nina and our dog, shooting film photography during the day & astrophotography at night, traveling, or skateboarding. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me!

Howdy! I’m Raelyn. I have been licensed since 2020. Working with natural textures is my jam! Low maintenance, textured haircuts, lived-in color, vivids, and curly hair.

It is important for me to provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. I am so grateful for the trust from each person that sits in my chair, and allowing me to do what I love.

In my free time I love reading, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with my fiancé and our cats!

Hello there! My name is Lily, and I have been working behind the chair since 2018! For the last three years I have spent my time specializing in cutting short hair, but I am looking to have more opportunities to work on all sorts of different lengths and color techniques. I love getting to work with all sorts of styles.

I have been passionate about doing hair since I was a little girl and got to spend a lot of quality time at the salon my aunt owned. From watching her at work I would often attempt to try different styles and color trends at home. Through that curiosity I learned how to love hair and how to have fun with it.
I absolutely adore what I do. It makes me happy that through this career I’ve gotten to meet so many amazing people!
It is very important to me that every person who sits in my chair knows that they are 100% welcome.

In my free time I love to read, bake, and (my absolute favorite) follow Harry Styles on tour!

Hi! My Name is Rae! I love to showcase my talent through Vibrant colors and Avant-garde cutting techniques. I also love doing corrective cuts and color projects. I have a sweet spot for mullets and punky fashion colors, so please don’t hesitate to try something new and fun. Expressing who you really are is one of the most beautiful things you can do.

My passion for hair started while growing up in my Great Grandmother’s barbershop in my hometown; which happened to be the first female-owned barbershop in the state!

My goal is to work with the community and provide a safe environment for EVERYONE, as well as achieve all of your hair dreams and goals. I want to thank you all for allowing me to do what I love, and I hope to be able to share my talents with you soon.

Hi friends! My name is August, and I am a queer hair witch, making magic happen behind the chair since 2022! I am passionate about helping people look on the outside, how they feel on the inside! This is why I LOVE hair that makes a statement, like vivids and shaggy cuts!!

I found my love for this industry at a young age, all while watching my Grandma Alice make incredible transformations on all of our family members in my Titi's kitchen. Watching what she could do with just a pair of scissors inspired in me a passion for hair! Little did I know, this love would send me down the path where I'd get to meet you! I am so excited to have you in my chair!! Let's make some magic!

Hi! My name is Gracie! I am a well-rounded stylist who LOVES to create and make fun ideas come to life. I specialize in blonding, color, and I am on my way to specializing in mullets and shags! I have been working behind the chair since January of 2021, but have had the passion for hair since I was 11 years old!

I started my hair career as a Pet Groomer, slowly getting into creative color on pets. After realizing my passion for color I decided to start my Cosmetology career! I consider my chair a safe space, and I work with both the LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent communities! If you have any special accommodations, please don’t hesitate to tell me.
